Siem Reap – On 6th July 2024, CPBank organized a Mid-Year Review Performance Review 2024, presided over by Mr. Toch Chaochek, Chief Executive Officer, and participated by all Senior Managements and Branch Managers at Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & SPA in Siem Reap Province.

This event also included a fun run from the Angkor Wat Temple to the Terrace of Elephants to promote team spirit and healthy lifestyle.

The meeting was concluded with a joyful Gala Dinner in the evening, in which Management from Funan Microfinance PLC has also joined.

CPBank joint the tree planting and school renovation event at Sathharam Primary School with the Association of Banks in Cambodia on 21st June 2024 at Tarong Village, Phnom Din Commune, Kirivong District, Takeo Province.

The objectives are to help the school in remote area to renovate a new building and to increase green environment to reduce the climate change and global warming.

Besides this tree planting, CPBank always conduct “Clean Up Day” nationwide twice per year, as a part of the Bank’s environmental activities and commitment.

 

 

 

CPBank organized “Clean Up Day”, participated by the Branch’s management and staff, by collecting rubbish in public parks and streets in all provinces in Cambodia on 08 Jun 2024.

The objective of this activity is to celebrate National and World Environment Day and to raise awareness of environmental conservation and sustainability as well as to reduce global climate change.

This activity also aims to promote well-being, beauty and public order of the capital city and provinces, and to remind the public to avoid littering for clean environment and healthy living.

Recently, there have been some scammers, trying to perform fraudulent activities over the phone by pretending to be Bank’s employees. They try to contact Bank’s customers and offer discount for the loan repayment through them. The scammers also make promises that the customers will receive a discount on the interest rate for new loan and require customers to pay them some fee in advance.

CPBank do not have any agents for loan repayment collections.

Please be noted that all CPBank’s loan repayments can only be done in 3 ways:
1. Cash payment at all CP Bank branch counters.
2. Account transfer from any Bank accounts to the client’s loan repayment account. And
3. Payment to client’s loan repayment account through Wing or True Money agents.

CPBank sponsored Smile Cambodia Surgical Mission to provide free surgery and treatment to Cambodian patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities and joint “Walk for a Smile 2024” for 23km in Siem Reap Province.

The Surgical Mission was on 20-22 March 2024 at Siem Reap Provincial Referral Hospital. In the mission, 44 patients were successfully treated.

“Walk for a Smile 2024” was on 23 March 2024, participated by local and international volunteered doctors and sponsors.

CPBank is honored to partner with the National Bank of Cambodia in supporting the “Embedding Financial Education within the National School Curriculum Project, Phase III”, the final phase which is implementing for three years from 2024 to 2026.

In this phase, the priority is to integrate financial education in seven grades (grades 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12), focusing on four subjects: Mathematics, Moral Civics, Home Economics, and Live Skills; build capacity of teachers; and pilot in real schools.

In addition, embedding financial education within the national school curriculum is a holistic approach that will help cultivate a sense of responsibility, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that are keys for individual’s success.

Stung Treng​ – On November 7th 2022, Cambodia Post Bank Plc. Stung Treng Provincial Branch donated 30 benches to the Stung Treng Provincial Administration Office, and other 20 benches to Police Commissariat of Stung Treng Province for public use.

Cambodia Post Bank always promotes sports and health! The Bank co-sponsored the “World Walking Day” organized by the General Department of Sports and Administration of Prey Veng in collaboration with Infinity Sport on October 1, 2023 in Prey Veng.

World Walking Day was first established in 1991 in Lausanne, Switzerland by the World Sports Association for All (TAFISA). Named “World Walking Day”, it is celebrated with millions of people from more than 160 countries gathering every Sunday in the first week of October. This activity was carried out regularly for more than three decades until it was recognized by the World Sports Association for All and decided to establish this day under the name “World Walking Day” in 1991.

This year, Cambodia also held the Walking Day at Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng Park on Sunday, October 1, 2023, in Prey Veng province at 10:00 a.m. with other 160 countries.

This participation is a commitment to contribute to the promotion of sports and health in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
