Nowadays, most small and medium business owners in Cambodia are women, who are a key driver of job creation in communities across the country. On November 3rd, 2020, at Dara Airport Hotel, Phnom Penh, CPBank was held a press conference on being awarded as “Best Bank for Women Entrepreneurs” by International Finance Corporation (IFC) and SME Finance Forum under representative of Mr. Toch Chaochek, CEO of CPBank. The press conference was held with the aim of focusing on the dedication and commitment to providing financial services to all women entrepreneurs across the country in order to achieve the goals of the national financial to increase the capacity and authority of women entrepreneurs and women leadership in business across the country.
Mr. Toch Chaochek, CEO of CPBank said: On October 27th, 2020, CPBank was named as “Best Bank for Women Entrepreneurs” by International Finance Corporation (IFC) member of the World Bank in the SME Finance Forum 2020. Importantly, CPBank has achieved this outstanding award in the competition from more than 200 national and international financial institutions from 140 countries around the world. The Outstanding Award given by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is not easy to win, looking back at our country in 2020, just only CPBank can achieve this award.
CPBank received this outstanding award by providing the most innovative financial services to customers, the public, entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs all over the country.
